With a mid-mounted 231-hp turbocharged 1.5-liter I-3 powering the rear wheels (via a six-speed automatic) and a 131-hp electric motor powering the front wheels (via a two-speed transmission), the i8 is the Bavarian automaker’s most fuel efficient sports car. BMW claims the 2+2 i8 coupe can reach 60 mph in under 4.5 seconds thanks to a combined system output of 362 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque.  << Click here to read more >>
